Where We Meet You: Km 19.5 and the Sand of Playa Delfines

Secrets Mirabel stands at Blvd. Kukulcán Km 19.5, in the southern part of Cancún’s hotel zone, on the narrow strip between the Caribbean and the Nichupté lagoon. The airport is roughly eight miles away, which usually means arriving with energy left for the first evening. We meet you at a public point close to the hotel and photograph you on the open sand in front of it, so nothing about the session depends on anyone’s schedule but yours.

Playa Delfines begins less than a kilometre to the north. It is one of the few long public beaches in the zone with no hotel built on it, and from the lookout above it the water shows every shade of blue at once. Many couples ask for both in one session: the quiet sand by the hotel for the close portraits, then a short drive to Delfines for the wide views. For a proposal we usually stay by the hotel instead — the fewer moving parts, the safer the secret.

Sunrise or Golden Hour? Choosing Your Light

This coast faces east, so sunrise comes straight off the sea, soft and clear, while the beach is still almost empty — our first choice for couples who want privacy. Late afternoon gives warmer, golden light and the easiest excuse in the world to take a walk before dinner. Tell us your dates and we will recommend the exact hour for each day of your stay.

Pricing works the same for every occasion: there is no session fee. You pay $15 USD per photo with a 10-photo minimum ($150 USD), or choose a group package from $200 USD when friends are part of the shoot.
