Finding Us: Km 14.5 and the Retorno del Rey

The JW Marriott Cancún stands at Boulevard Kukulcán km 14.5, Lote 40-A, in the Retorno del Rey pocket of the Zona Hotelera — the same wide beach it shares with its sister Marriott right next door. It is about 20 to 25 minutes by car from Cancún International Airport (CUN), and we meet you at the public beach access near Playa Ballenas (km 14), a couple of minutes from the hotel entrance. No resort access needed and no logistics to untangle — just an easy public spot on the sand where the session begins.

Want more than one backdrop? Playa Delfines (km 18), with its famous hilltop lookout and the giant CANCÚN letters, is only about 7 to 10 minutes south by car. Playa Fórum (km 9), in the livelier heart of the zone, is roughly 10 to 12 minutes north. Most families and couples stay right at Ballenas, though — with a beach this wide and this calm, there is rarely a reason to go looking for another.

Pricing is refreshingly simple. There is no session fee — you pay $15 USD per photo with a 10-photo minimum ($150 USD), or choose a group package from $200 USD when the whole family is in front of the camera.
