Understated Luxury, Photographed for Two
Le Blanc Spa Resort is the quiet one. All white, adults-only and built around its spa, it sits at km 10 of Boulevard Kukulcan — the exact center of Cancun's hotel zone — yet somehow keeps the volume turned down. Guests don't come here for waterslides; they come to slow down together. Which is precisely the kind of trip that deserves better photographs than the ones a stretched-out arm can take.
We've photographed thousands of sessions across Cancun, and the requests we receive from Le Blanc are remarkably consistent: a couples session, a babymoon, an anniversary. This guide covers all three — where we meet you (an easy public beach access a couple of minutes from the hotel), what the light does at km 10, and what it costs.
Three Occasions, One Calm Stretch of Sand
Because Le Blanc is adults-only, we almost never photograph big groups here. It is nearly always two people marking something — new, on the way, or decades in the making. Each occasion has its own rhythm, and we plan each one differently.
Couples
A couples session near Le Blanc feels like the resort itself: unhurried and quietly polished. We keep direction minimal — a slow walk at the waterline, a close frame against the open horizon, small gestures rather than grand poses — because the truest images of two people are usually the calmest ones. Honeymoons and just-because escapes fill most of these mornings, and an hour is enough to come home with a gallery that looks nothing like vacation snapshots. If you’re curious how we pose people who are not models, our couples photoshoot guide for Cancun walks through it frame by frame.
Babymoon
A spa-first, adults-only hotel is a natural babymoon base, and a short beach session is the keepsake most parents-to-be are happiest they made time for. We schedule these early, while the air is still cool, and build everything around comfort: gentle pacing, flattering standing and seated poses, flowing fabric and soft silhouettes at the shoreline. There is no rushing and nothing acrobatic — and as many pauses as you need. Our babymoon and maternity photoshoot guide for Cancun covers wardrobe, timing and how we keep the hour easy.
Anniversaries
Five years or forty, an anniversary trip is a story already written — our job is simply to photograph the two people still telling it. These sessions tend to be the most relaxed of all: no nerves, plenty of laughter, and portraits you’ll actually print. Some couples bring a small detail worth honoring — the original ring, a date drawn in the sand at the water’s edge. For timing and ideas, see our anniversary photoshoot guide for Cancun.
Km 10, Punta Cancun — and the Two Best Hours of Light
Le Blanc Spa Resort sits at Blvd. Kukulcán km 10 in the Zona Hotelera — the very center of Cancun’s beachfront corridor — about 25 minutes by car from Cancun International Airport (CUN). One thing we’re always upfront about: we photograph on the public beach, not inside the resort. We meet you at an easy public beach access a couple of minutes from the hotel entrance and shoot on the wide, white-sand shoreline right in front of the km 10 area, so the session adds zero logistics to your morning.
Two of Cancun’s most photographed beaches sit within easy reach. Playa Fórum, in the Punta Cancún area around km 9, is roughly one kilometer away — a short ride, or an easy 12–15 minute walk up the beach if you’d rather arrive barefoot. Playa Delfines (km 18), home of the famous lookout and the widest sand in the city, is about a 12–15 minute drive south. Both make beautiful second backdrops, though most Le Blanc couples stay right in front of km 10 — that shoreline needs no upgrade.
Sunrise for Privacy, Golden Hour for Warmth
The two hours we recommend do different jobs. Sunrise is the private one: by day, km 10 sits on the busiest stretch of the hotel zone, but in the first hour after dawn the sand is nearly empty and the light falls pale gold on white sand — the closest central Cancun comes to feeling like a private beach. Golden hour, in the last stretch before sunset, trades a little of that solitude for warmth: honey-toned light, glowing skin, a softer sea. For babymoons we almost always suggest sunrise, for the cool air as much as the privacy; for couples and anniversaries, either hour photographs beautifully. Tell us your dates and we’ll recommend an exact start time.
Pricing stays simple, with no session fee: you pay $15 USD per photo with a 10-photo minimum ($150 USD), or choose a group package from $200 USD. After the session you review every good frame and select the images you love — that is all you ever pay for.
Want part of your hour to feel more theatrical? Ask about our signature beach-gown editorial sessions at Le Blanc — meters of fabric moving in the sea breeze against all that white-on-white minimalism.
And if a bigger celebration is what brought you here, our guide to celebrating your ceremony at Le Blanc covers coordinators, logistics and the best light for the big day. You can see exactly how we shoot — and hundreds of recent images — on our Cancun photographer page; then just send us your dates.

Photo Sessions at Le Blanc — FAQ
Do you photograph guests staying at Le Blanc Spa Resort?
All the time — Le Blanc guests are among our most frequent clients in the hotel zone. We meet you at a public beach access near km 10 of Boulevard Kukulcan, a couple of minutes from the hotel entrance, and the session takes place on the public beach right in front of the area.
How much does a photo session near Le Blanc cost?
There is no session fee. You pay $15 USD per photo with a 10-photo minimum ($150 USD), or choose a group package from $200 USD. After the session you review every good frame and only pay for the images you choose.
How long is a babymoon session, and how gentle is it?
About one hour, at whatever pace feels right. We favor early morning for the cool air, keep poses comfortable — standing, seated, supported — and pause whenever you like. Most moms-to-be tell us it felt more like a slow beach walk than a photo shoot.
What is the best time of day for a session at Le Blanc?
Sunrise if privacy matters most: the km 10 beach is nearly empty in the first hour of light. Golden hour before sunset if you want the warmest tones. Both photograph beautifully, and we'll recommend one based on your occasion and dates.
