Le Blanc is adults-only, so the sessions here are nearly always about two people. Three occasions account for most of them, and each has a guide of its own.

A Surprise Proposal, Choreographed in Secret

Every proposal starts with a WhatsApp conversation we treat as confidential. Together we choose the date, the light and the exact mark on the public beach near km 10, agree a cover story — a look at the water before breakfast, a photo for the family album — and a simple signal so we know the moment is close. On the day we are already on the sand, photographing the sea like any other photographer working this coast. You kneel, and we are already shooting: the hands over the mouth, the ring, the laughter that follows. Then we introduce ourselves and carry on with relaxed portraits while the light is still kind. Timing matters more here than at quieter hotels: by late morning, km 10 is one of the busiest stretches of the hotel zone. That is why we plan most proposals near Le Blanc for the first hour after sunrise, when the sand is almost empty and nobody is watching but us.

Honeymoons and Anniversaries, Without the Nerves

Plenty of couples here book us with no question to ask — a honeymoon, a tenth anniversary, a fortieth. The rhythm is the same, minus the secrecy: a slow hour at the waterline, light direction, small gestures instead of grand poses. Km 10, Punta Cancun — and the Two Best Hours of Light

Le Blanc Spa Resort sits at Blvd. Kukulcán km 10 in the Zona Hotelera — the very center of Cancun’s beachfront corridor — about 25 minutes by car from Cancun International Airport (CUN). One thing we’re always upfront about: we photograph on the public beach, not inside the resort. We meet you at an easy public beach access a couple of minutes from the hotel entrance and shoot on the wide, white-sand shoreline right in front of the km 10 area, so the session adds zero logistics to your morning.

Two of Cancun’s most photographed beaches sit within easy reach. Playa Fórum, in the Punta Cancún area around km 9, is roughly one kilometer away — a short ride, or an easy 12–15 minute walk up the beach if you’d rather arrive barefoot. Playa Delfines (km 18), home of the famous lookout and the widest sand in the city, is about a 12–15 minute drive south. Both make beautiful second backdrops, though most Le Blanc couples stay right in front of km 10 — that shoreline needs no upgrade.

Sunrise for Privacy, Golden Hour for Warmth

The two hours we recommend do different jobs. Sunrise is the private one: by day, km 10 sits on the busiest stretch of the hotel zone, but in the first hour after dawn the sand is nearly empty and the light falls pale gold on white sand — the closest central Cancun comes to feeling like a private beach. Golden hour, in the last stretch before sunset, trades a little of that solitude for warmth: honey-toned light, glowing skin, a softer sea. For babymoons we almost always suggest sunrise, for the cool air as much as the privacy; for couples and anniversaries, either hour photographs beautifully. Tell us your dates and we’ll recommend an exact start time.

Pricing stays simple, with no session fee: you pay $15 USD per photo with a 10-photo minimum ($150 USD), or the Storyteller package at $200 USD (20 edited photos), for one or two people; a family or a group books a package instead: up to 4 people for $350 USD, or any group size for $499 USD. After the session you review every good frame and select the images you love — that is all you ever pay for.
