Beloved Playa Mujeres is the boutique property in the Playa Mujeres enclave — a fraction of the size of its neighbours, adults-only, about thirty minutes north of downtown Cancún. Small matters here. Fewer guests on a beach this wide means that for most of an early session, the sand is effectively yours.
What people book from this resort is almost always private: a proposal, a honeymoon, an anniversary nobody else is invited to. Those sessions work best where there is no audience, and this is the quietest corner of an already quiet coast.

Proposals
The session we shoot most here, and the beach is well suited to it: few people, open sand, and enough distance for us to work unnoticed with a long lens. We agree on the spot, the timing and a signal beforehand, photograph the moment itself, and then continue with a couple's session once the answer is in.

An hour early in the trip, before the week gets away from you. Mostly walking and talking rather than posing.

Where the Resort Sits — and Why It Stays So Quiet
Beloved Playa Mujeres is inside the gated Playa Mujeres community north of Cancún, across the channel from Isla Mujeres, roughly thirty minutes from downtown Cancún and about forty from the airport. It is one of the smallest properties on a coast otherwise built around very large resorts.
That size difference is the reason to shoot here. Beach crowding is a function of guest count per metre of sand, and by that measure this is the emptiest stretch on the coast — which is exactly what a proposal or a private session needs.
How a Session Works — Especially a Surprise
We come to you, with no travel fee to Playa Mujeres, and meet at a public beach access a short walk from the resort. Mexican beaches are federal public property with open access, so a resort's policy on outside vendors does not affect whether we can photograph the shoreline. For a proposal we plan everything by message beforehand so that on the day you only have to show up and walk to the agreed spot.
Sunrise is the strongest light on this coast, but proposals are the exception where sunset often wins — it is easier to get someone to the beach in the evening without explaining why. Both work here; tell us the plan and we will tell you honestly which will look better.
What a Session Here Costs

Can you photograph a surprise proposal?
Yes — it is the session we shoot most at this resort. We arrange the spot, the timing and a discreet signal in advance, then work from a distance with a long lens so you are not looking for us. Afterwards we continue with a full couple's session.
Do you come out to Playa Mujeres? Is there a travel fee?
Yes, and there is no travel fee. We meet you at a public beach access a short walk from the resort.
Sunrise or sunset for a proposal?
Sunset is usually easier logistically — it is simpler to suggest an evening walk than a 6 a.m. one without raising suspicion. Sunrise gives better light on this east-facing coast. Tell us your plan and we will advise honestly.
How much does a session cost?
There is no session fee. It is $15 USD per photo with a 10-photo minimum ($150 USD), or a package from $200 USD.
How quickly do we get the photos?
We deliver edited galleries within two to three weeks. If you need a handful of images sooner — to announce an engagement, for instance — tell us and we will prioritise a small set.
