Majestic Elegance Costa Mujeres is on the northern Costa Mujeres coast, about forty-five minutes from Cancún airport, on a wide and unusually quiet stretch of sand. A good share of what we photograph here is dressed-up: a quinceañera, a milestone birthday, an anniversary that people actually got changed for.

A full session in the dress, usually at sunrise, with the family joining for the last stretch. We plan the timing around hair and makeup rather than the other way round — tell us when you will be ready and we will build the morning around it.

Where the Resort Sits — and Why the Beach Suits It
Majestic Elegance Costa Mujeres is on the Costa Mujeres coast north of Playa Mujeres, roughly forty-five minutes from Cancún airport. This is the newest developed stretch of the coast, low-rise and set well apart from the hotel zone, with a long and wide beach in front of it.
For formal sessions that matters twice over: the background stays clean, and the beach is quiet enough that a dressed-up session does not turn into a spectacle. The eastern horizon means sunrise light lands directly on the sand, which is the most flattering hour for anything involving fabric and skin.
How a Session Works Here
We come to you, with no travel fee to Costa Mujeres, and meet at a public beach access near the resort — Mexican beaches are federal public property with open access, so a resort's vendor policy does not change what we can photograph on the shoreline. Sessions run about an hour, longer for a quinceañera with several looks.
For a dressed-up session, sunrise is worth the alarm clock. The light is soft, the sand is empty, and the heat has not arrived yet — which matters a great deal when someone is wearing a full gown.
What a Session Here Costs
There is no session fee. Photos are $15 USD each with a 10-photo minimum ($150 USD), or a package from $200 USD. A quinceañera or a milestone celebration usually runs longer and produces more keepers, so a package tends to make more sense. Everything is set out on our Cancún photographer page.
