Three Occasions Worth Photographing at Royal Hideaway

You chose an adults-only address, which tells us most of what we need before you even write: this is a couple’s trip, and the requests we receive from guests staying here are remarkably consistent. These are the three occasions we photograph most often for couples on this quiet end of Playacar.

Anniversaries

The trip is the gift; the photographs are the part that outlasts it. Five years, ten, thirty — the number changes and the request never does: one unhurried hour, the two of you, dressed the way you dressed for the dinner you already booked. We shoot it at first light so you are back with the whole day still in front of you, and so the beach in every frame is calm and yours. Honeymoons

The one trip you will describe for the rest of your lives, and almost nobody comes home with a real photograph of it — the phone stays in the room and the two of you stay out of the frame. This is the session we plan around your best evening or your slowest morning, unhurried and directed gently, so it looks like the honeymoon actually felt. The adults-only escape

No milestone, no announcement, nothing to mark except the first week in a long while that belongs to nobody but the two of you — and a quiet preference for remembering it properly. This is the most relaxed of the three: a slow hour on the sand, light direction, and the two of you doing very little beyond being together. Where We Take You for a Private Hour

Royal Hideaway sits at the calm, residential end of Playacar — a quiet enclave of low buildings and shaded streets that is, by design, the least hectic corner of Playa del Carmen. The centre is close without being on top of you: the pedestrian stretch of Fifth Avenue is roughly a twenty-minute walk, or the short taxi ride you would take for dinner anyway, which means the sand we photograph on is only ever minutes from your room. For couples we can arrange to pick you up, and we send the exact pin over WhatsApp the day before.

Where we actually shoot depends on how private you want it. Playa Fundadores — the open public beach beside Parque Los Fundadores and the Portal Maya sculpture, at the foot of Avenida Juárez by the Cozumel ferry pier — is wide, free to anyone and a calm anchor a short hop north of Playacar. When you want almost nobody else in the frame, we head instead to Punta Esmeralda, a quieter public stretch further up the coast, where an early start buys you a beach that feels like your own. Either way there is no gate to clear and nothing that can cancel your morning.

No Session Fee — You Pay Only for What You Keep

Pricing is refreshingly simple: there is no session fee. You pay $15 USD per photo with a 10-photo minimum ($150 USD), or choose a package from $200 USD — so you commission the hour, then keep only the images you love.
