Yes, you can do it on a cruise day
Cruise-day sessions are one of our most requested experiences in Cozumel. The Flying Dress session itself runs about 60 to 90 minutes, and the meeting point is close to the piers, so it slots easily into a typical six-to-eight-hour port call. You tell us your ship name and your all-aboard time, and we build the schedule backwards from it so you are never rushed.
Cozumel's three cruise piers — and where you'll dock
Cozumel has three cruise piers, and the cruise line decides which one your ship uses (it can even change day to day). You do not need to know yours in advance — just share your ship name or pier and we set the meeting point. Here is what each one is like:
Punta Langosta
The most central pier, right in downtown San Miguel and steps from the shops, restaurants and the main waterfront. If you dock here you are walking distance from town, and the beaches we shoot are a short taxi ride away.
Puerta Maya
The resort-style terminal to the south, with pools, bars and a relaxed beach-club feel. It is one of the closest piers to the beaches we use for Flying Dress sessions, which makes the logistics especially easy.
SSA International Pier
The largest of the three and where most mega-ships dock, located right next to Puerta Maya on the southern stretch. Like Puerta Maya, it is only minutes from our photoshoot beaches.
How a cruise-day session works, step by step
We send you clear directions and meet you at a calm, photogenic beach away from the busiest tourist spots, at the time we have agreed — an easy walk or short taxi ride from your pier. Your photographer guides you through every pose — you do not need any experience — while the clothing assistant manages the dress so it catches the wind beautifully. When we wrap, you head straight back toward the terminal with time to spare.
Your professionally edited photos arrive within 72 hours through a private online gallery, so there is nothing to wait around for in port. You simply enjoy the session and head back to your ship.
Will you make it back to the ship in time?
This is the question every cruise guest asks, and the answer is yes. We schedule cruise-day shoots early in your port window, keep the beach close to the terminals, and track your all-aboard time throughout. The session is designed to leave a wide margin — most guests are back aboard with hours to spare. If your time in port is short, tell us and we will plan an efficient, focused session around it.
Tips for cruise passengers
Book ahead. Cozumel sees several ships on busy days and our cruise-day slots fill quickly — reserving before you sail guarantees your time.
Share your ship details. Your ship name, arrival time and all-aboard time are all we need to plan around your stop.
Travel light. The Flying Dress is provided in sizes XS to XXXL and is included in your package, so there is nothing to carry off the ship. Bring sunscreen, a hat for between shots, and comfortable footwear for the beach.
Arrive ready. There is limited time in port, so come with hair and makeup done if you would like a polished look — we will handle the rest.
Ready when your ship arrives
A Flying Dress photoshoot is the kind of memory a cruise stop is made for — effortless, beautiful, and entirely yours. Tell us your sailing date and ship, and we will have everything ready the moment you step ashore in Cozumel.
