We send you clear directions and meet you at Playa La Roca — our recommended spot, away from the busiest tourist areas — at the time we have agreed, usually around 8 a.m. Tulum's public beaches are easily reached by bus, taxi or Uber, and private resort-beach sessions are available on request if you would prefer somewhere more secluded. From there, your photographer guides the two of you through a natural, unhurried flow of moments while the clothing assistant manages the dress so it catches the wind in every frame.

Getting to Tulum

Tulum's beach sits about 1.5 to 2 hours from Cancún International Airport (CUN), or roughly 20 minutes from the new Tulum Airport (TQO). Most couples we photograph fly in from the United States, Canada and Europe and stay right in Tulum or somewhere along the Riviera Maya, which makes an early-morning beach session effortless. If you are basing yourself further up the coast, just let us know and we will help you plan the timing so your 8 a.m. start is never a scramble.

When to come

For the most reliable conditions, the dry season from November through April brings calmer seas, gentler mornings and the kind of dependable light that makes Tulum so special. That said, the coast is beautiful year-round, and we keep a close eye on conditions to choose the best window for your session. If your honeymoon or anniversary falls outside those months, do not worry — we will work with the weather to give you the morning you came for.

A few tips for the perfect couple's shoot

Go barefoot. Tulum's sand is soft and the most romantic images are the ones where you are simply walking the shoreline together, shoes left behind.

Wear the right swimwear underneath. Under the airy, flowing dress we recommend a strapless or backless swimsuit so nothing shows through the fabric.
