Your partner in the photos, at no extra charge
The Flying Dress session centres on the dress, but it does not have to be a solo shoot. Your partner can join the photos at no extra charge — walking with you through the shallows, holding the train of the dress, or simply in the frame beside you. We guide every pose, so you do not need any experience in front of a camera.
Sunrise, for the two of you
Playa del Carmen faces east, so the sun rises over the water. An 8 a.m. start gives you soft light, cool air and a beach that is still quiet — the best conditions for unhurried, natural photos together. A session runs about an hour.
Where to go if you want privacy
Playa Mamitas and Playa Fundadores are walkable from the centre and work beautifully at that hour. If you would rather have no one else in the frame, Playa Xcalacoco, roughly nine kilometres north, has open, empty sand at first light; it needs a short drive, so we plan it as its own session. What is included
The dress in sizes XS to XXXL, your photographer and a clothing assistant. With the $169 USD package you choose 16 photos to be edited from a preview gallery of around 60; with the $219 USD package you get 40 edited photos, all the unedited shots and an Instagram reel. Edited photos arrive within 72 hours in a private online gallery, and a $30 USD deposit holds your date.
A couple session, without the dress
If you would like photos of the two of you in your own clothes — a honeymoon portrait session, a surprise proposal or an anniversary walk on the beach — that is a regular photo session, priced per photo or by package. See our Playa del Carmen photographer page.
